Why would I want to be with Associated Industries in particular?
The benefits of our Retro Plan go far beyond the potential for large refunds. Our members receive claims management, safety and loss control services from our in-house staff that are recognized for their skills and advice. They work actively with our members to close L & I claims, thus lowering costs. In addition, Associated Industries Retro membership benefits include:
- Regular safety training programs where members learn more about practical, best safety practices
- Access to legal counsel that can assist members with appeals issues
- We work with our members to make sure that L & I is not overcharging
- We are one of a few Retro Groups in the state that returns 100% of the refund to you, the employer.
What is the cost?
Retro members pay a service fee to Associated Industries equal to seven percent of their quarterly industrial insurance premium. This fee covers all the safety and claims management services listed above. Participants are also required to be Associated Industries dues-paying members. There are no other costs and Associated Industries does not keep a portion of YOUR refund.
How does it all work?
You apply to join our group. We accept companies that have a metal manufacturing risk code, a minimum of $10,000 per year in premiums and a better-than-average claims history. If you would like more information, contact our Safety and Risk Management department by phone, FAX, email or this form.
