Your HEALTH Counts: How to get a FREE skin cancer Screening

Did you know that skin cancer is the most common form of cancer?  What's worse, it has the potential to be deadly, I mean like DEADLY.  That's why it's so important that you have your skin checked by a professional once a year to rule out any possible cancers -- especially if you're fair-skinned like me.

I just found out that Community Health Education and Resources (CHER), a service of Inland Northwest Health Services, will be offering free screenings for skin cancer, open to the public. And they're making it extra convenient by offering various times and various dermatologists' offices. It only takes about 15 minutes, and it could save your life.

Call (509) 232-8138 to set up your FREE skin cancer screening appointment during the week of May 11-15.  Various times and locations available in the Spokane area.

For more free community screenings, visit CHER's website at www.cherspokane.org (that's ommunity Health Education and Resources's website, not mine!)

Truth be told, that's also not my photo.

P.S.If your employer is not one of hundreds of member companies – representing thousands of employees and their families – that contract with Associated Employers Trust (AET) to provide their employees with quality healthcare and disability program, and the "Your HEALTH Counts!" wellness program, maybe it's time to ask if you can find out more about this excellent program.
