If your workforce consists of both permanent and temporary employees, it may not be clear who should cover safety training to prevent costly accidents. Humanix Corp. and Associated Industries have teamed up with the Dept. of Labor and Industries to provide valuable FREE safety information and tools for your temporary employees. The innovative program, PartnerS.H.I.P.s in Safety (Safety and Health Investment Project), is idesigned to bring awareness, tools and training information to businesses on the importance of safety training for their temporary employees.

President. “These important materials and instruction tools are increasing employer awareness regarding the need for safety training for all employees – temporary employees as much, if not more so, than permanent employees.”
The program has been in operation since March, but with the downturn in the economy, it has taken on added value for employers hiring more temporary workers. Included in the training are tools such as:
- A “First Day” safety training checklist
- After-hours emergency contact cards
- Temporary employee incident report forms
- Accident Prevention Program (APP)
- OSHA Log and your temporary employee
- Employee Incident Report Forms
- Incident Report Forms and a Haz-Safety Quiz
- Liability and WISHA information
- How-to’s for Safety Committee
