The Secretary of Health and Human Services expects the Federal government to start a voluntary vaccination program against the 2009 H1N1 (swine flu) virus this fall. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and state and local health partners are developing plans for the vaccination program. The CDC wants the public to discuss how a national immunization effort should take place and is sponsoring a free event to get feedback.
