A poorly drafted handbook, however, may do more harm than good and may actually create liability for an employer. In this three-hour workshop, you will learn which policies are essential and how to tailor a handbook to your company needs.

Employee handbooks provide a valuable tool to memorialize employee expectations, as well as outline benefits and responsibilities of employment. A poorly drafted handbook, however, may do more harm than good, creating liability for an employer. In this workshop, you will learn which policies are essential and how to tailor a handbook to your individual company needs. Course materials will include a handbook template, additional policy samples and a checklist to allow you to evaluate your existing handbook.
